Blue Devils Soccer From page 6 Pickering came out roaring looking to avenge an earlier season defeat at the hands of the Darlington squad and found the net quickly, scoring two goals in the first 10 minutes minutes of play. Devan Sutton, always always on the alert, took a pass up the right wing and outran the Pickering defence, depositing depositing the ball into the comer of the net past a sprawling goalie. This cut the lead in half and M seemed to give a little life to the Darlington squad. But Pickering responded with a goal of their own only minutes later, restoring their lead to 3- 1. Pickering added one more to their total and then held Darlington Darlington off for the rest of the game, allowing only one more goal by Robbie Goddard, who stole the ball from the Pickering Pickering defence and put it home to make the final score Pickering 4, Darlington 2.
