Terry Fox Run Raises $4,400 by Brad Kelly The rains held off just long enough on Sunday, as participants in the 16th annual annual Terry Fox Run were able to complete the Bowmanville course before the streets became became too wet. Just over 100 participants walked, jogged, ran, cycled, and roller bladed the two courses that area organizers mapped out. There was a lkm and a 10km course that offered a challenge. Prior to tiie start, an official opening ceremony was held, which included a ribbon ribbon cutting. Participating in the ceremony were, from left, Jean Brownlee, Mayor Diane Hamre, MPP John O'Toole, MP Alex Shepherd, Arthur Morton and Jim Ruddy. Jean Brownlee, Arthur Morton, and Jim Ruddy are all Terry Terry Team Members, having survived cancer. In the past 16 years, the Terry Fox Run has generated over $168 million.
