Ever since he bought the Tyrone Mill 17 years ago, he's always had it in the back of his mind to re-introduce the flour grinding process that once represented the mill's bread and butter income. income. Like the succession of millers before him, he has had to adapt the mill to suit a changing market. While he still mns a thriving saw mill, Shafer added the popular apple cider press in 1981.
