For more information call 623-YWCA. Snowmobiling Week Declared in Clarington Sunday, Nov. 23 to Saturday, Saturday, Nov. 30 is to be Snowmobiling Snowmobiling Week in Clarington. The proclamation was requested requested by Bert Grant, President President of the Ontario Federation Federation of Snowmobile Clubs. Grant's letter states this year's theme is Get Ready for Snowmobiling Week. He also writes: "1996 marks the 30th year that the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Snowmobile Clubs has been the provincial leader for organized organized snowmobiling." Museum Hosts Free Fall Event It was a musical evening for Jennifer Vogel of Tyrone on Friday, Oct. 18. She visited the Bowmanville Museum Museum during the Free Fall event and tickled the ivories of this Dominion Organ made prior to 1879. Curator Charles Taws says one of the unique features of this organ organ is that it has a wooden peddle cover that folds over to discourage rodents from getting into the instrument. It organ was donated to the museum in memory of Mary Morris, who was the organist at St. Saviour's Church in. Orono for many years.
