Scott is shown above tangling with a player from Orillia during last Sunday night's 3-1 win by the Eagles. The move is one of many that is expected to shake up the roster. The Eagles host Collingwood on Sunday night at the Recreation Complex. Game time is 6:45 p.m. un dunoay, uctooer t>, tne Aamco Home Improvements Bantams hit the ice for the first time against Darlington Auto in an exhibition game. Aamco opened the scoring in the,first when Jordan Bate found the net assisted by Matt Bickle and Nathan Hobbs. Darlington Darlington Auto answered in the second. Both teams battled in the second but Darlington took the lead and held on. Rob Ka- meka made some great saves to keep his team in the game. Final score 2-1. Split with Lange's and Kool Enterprises in regular season On Saturday, October 12, Aamco met Lange's Photo in its first game of the regular season. Lange's jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first. Aamco couldn't seem to get on track as Lange's added two more in the second. Troy Tan broke the shutout on a pass from Tim Swan in the third. Despite numerous numerous saves by goalie Rob JvameKa Aamco lost this one 5-1. After a few more practices, Aamco took on Kool Enter- prizes on Saturday, October 19. Aamco looked like a different different team as they came out flying, flying, scoring twice in the first. Both teams played hard in the second with the goalies at both ends making some good saves. Aamco added two more in the third. Rob Kameka played a great game to earn a well deserved deserved shutout. Final score 4-0. Point getters were: Nathan Hobbs (2g), Rob Milford (lg), Jamie Grant (lg), Jordan Bate (2a), Paul Risebrough (2a), Troy Tan (la), David Ritchie (la), David Griffin (la). The 1996 edition of the CRHL Reynolds Plumbing Peewee squad is out of the gate quickly,- with two convincing wins in it's first two games. Reynolds opened the season against IDA on October 12'in Bowmanville. Both teams got off to a rather tentative start, making for a closely matched first half. Reynolds got on the. board first early in the second period and from there slowly managed to take control of the game, adding four goals in the third period to skate away with a well earned 5-1 win. Reynolds Reynolds goals went to David Vella, Rob Cummer, Jeff Reynolds Reynolds with two and Craig Reed. Assists going to Greg Bell as well as Reynolds, Reed and Cummer. The team travelled to Orono October 19 to host Hooper's Trophies. This time however, Reynolds wasted no time, jumping out to a 3-0 lead by the end of the first period. From that point on they were in command, adding one more goal in the second and two in the third to post a 6-1 victory. Scoring in the game was handled handled by Scott Lane and Craig Reed with two apiece, Jeff Reynolds Reynolds and Rob Cummer adding adding singles. Assists going to Kyle Denison, Graham Flett, Reynolds and Reed. These were team victories, and excellent efforts by David Langstaff, Chris Staples, Ryans Oliver and Collister, Jason Jason Buckley, Kevin Dion in the trenches and Chris Burritt's stingy goaltending all played a large part in both victories.
