Hand Bell Choir are planning a special special musical December 22nd, 9:30 a.m. at Eldad and 11 a.m. at Tyrone. Come out and enjoy a musical program. The Eldad U.C.W. had charge of our church service on Sunday, October October 27th. Jean Taylor and Betty Grant were our greeters and Betty Munro and Alma Langmaid our lay readers. Pat Best had charge of the service, the choir sang two numbers "Joy in Serving Jesus" and "Love Joy Peace", with Joyce Taylor at the piano. Sandy Brittain played for the rest of the service on the organ. Our guest speaker was Shirley Coyle from Newcastle. She told the children a story, pertaining pertaining to oil in oùr bodies- instead of oil in our lamps, we needed oil in all parts of oùr body, lovely story. Shirleys message to us "Joy is like the Rain".' A good message to us. Shirley closed the service with prayer. Thanks for coming to our service, Shirley, she also brought her husband. Tyrone 4-H Club Recently the "Tyrone Hammer Hammer Heads" met at Tyrone Blacksmith's shop for the second second meeting of the year. After the business was taken taken care of, and everyone read 1 out their long list of wooden items they use or see within their homes in one day, everyone everyone started their projects. Shapes were being drawn on wood, saws were running and some of the girls' hands were in pain by the end of the night from sanding. Almost everyone could see their projects progressing nicely nicely and were pleased! Just before 9:00 everyone started to clean up, sweep and put their projects away.
