The Bowmanville Toro Juveniles Juveniles had two wins and a loss in recent hockey action. The first game was at home against Barrie and it was no contest on the night as the Toros Toros blanked the visitors 10-0. Cameron Millar and Jeff Parry both saw action in net for the Toros and were at their best when called upon in recording the shutout. It wasn't until near the end of the first period that Derek Arnold opened the scoring scoring from a pass from Cory Scott. A minute later, Mike Nesbitt made it 2-0 on an unassisted unassisted play. In the second period period the Toros scored three more times before putting five goals past the Barrie keeper in the final final period. Scorers were: Arnold Arnold (2g), Nesbitt (2g, 2a), Nick Hand (2g, la), Paul La- vallee (lg), Greg McMurter (lg), Jason Hoffman (lg, 2a), Tim McGrath (lg, la), Ryan Dunnigan (4a), Darryl Cook (2a). Game two was held in Sutton, Sutton, and despite opening the scoring the Toros found themselves themselves down 4-3 at the end of the first period. In the second they bounced back to tie the score at 5-5 before the home team got the eventual winner just before the end of the period period to make the final 6-5.
