Here is an interesting statistic: statistic: Less than one per cent of our secondary school teachers teaching science have a degree in science. Shouldn't that change? So, what do we do about the problem of youth unemployment? unemployment? We need a shift in the way we view the job market and tell youth the truth about where the economy is headed. First, simply pursuing a postsecondary postsecondary education in a field because we like it doesn't ensure ensure a career. Our vision for education is student- focused, with five principles: Quality: a provincial wide system system of curriculum and performance performance monitoring.
