Sixteen additions in the areas areas of service and two changes changes in the level of service were cited as reasons for the higher costs. The price tag was $47,856 over budget The report was met with disbelief from the Ward Three Regional Councillor Ann Dreslinski. "I find this'distressing that the Works Department decided decided to go over budget by 30 per cent," she stated. She wanted to know if staff was in the habit of making making decisions such as this without notifying the council. Public Works Director Stephen Yokes replied: "I believe believe councillors were aware of the number of phone calls and complaints" regarding the grass cutting. Councillor Dreslinski pointed to the fact that there were several additions to the contract and said, "this isn't one or two, but this is a major error." iFRAMf! 234 King Street East, Bowmanville irminni (90S) 623-3393 SNOWMOBILE FROM YOUR FRONT DOORI NEW HOME WITH W/O BASEMENT Spotless 3 + 2 bedroom raised bungalow on Located on super court In Bowmanville. 4 a beautiful big lot (100' x 100' approx.), bedroom, 1,680 sq. ft. home with main Nicely finished walkout basement, newer windows and doors.
