Seeking Recruits Bradd Anderson, Chairman of the Bowmanville Lions Club Extensions Committee, says Courtice is a growing community community and he believes it's ready to support a Lions Club. Through posters, news articles and word-of-mouth, the Bowmanville Lions- Club is seeking recruits to form the new club. Anderson adds that a membership of at least 20 would be required. "We would hope to have something something in place by June," he added. Jim Lachance, Vice President of the Lions Club of Courtice Extensions Committee, says anyone who is active in the community community or interested in helping his or her community will find Lions to be an excellent organization.
