SATURDAY, MARCH 1 SYMPHONY IN BOWMANVILLE -- The Oshawa- Durham Symphony Orchestra will be performing Saturday, March 1st, at the Bowmanville High School Auditorium. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available at The Statesman office, 62 King St. W., Bowmanville, until 2 p.m. Friday, February 28th. They are also available in Oshawa at Say well's Book Store,-Walters Music Centres or the Wilson and Lee Music Store. You can also get your tickets at the door. The symphony is currently celebrating its 40th season. The March 1st concert is the third of the season and will feature works by composers of the 20th century. KIDNEY FOUNDATION DANCE -- The 16th Annual Kidney Foundation Dance will be held at the Newcastle Community Centre on Saturday, March 1 at 8 p.m. Music will be provided by Bill Taylor and The Tradesmen, a five-piece country band.
