Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Scarborough. Obituary TRIM Dorothy Leta On Sunday, February 9, 1997, Dorothy Leta Trim, aged 81 passed away in Memorial Hospital, Hospital, Bowmanville. She had been ill for only two weeks. Born in Uxbridge and educated in Toronto, she was married Novembers, Novembers, 1934 to Bert Trim. She was a long time resident of Starkville and resided for the past 10 months at Strathaven Retirement Centre, Bowmanville. Bowmanville. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Orono Re- bekah Lodge. Surviving are her children Raymond Raymond Trim, Charlie and Cathy Trim, Diane and Ed Rowe ànd grand-daughters Tiffany Rowe, Merrilee and Laura Trim. The Reverend David Black officiated officiated at the funeral service held Wednesday, February 12, 1997 at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Chapel, Bowmanville. Toastmasters The February 25th meeting meeting of Bowmanville Toastmasters featured two speakers, one of whom was guest Toastmaster Peter Dowse of the Ajax- Pickering Club. Peter presented an original original and realistic story set in the future. Toastmaster Nancy Barnes delivered a cautionary tale advising buyers to beware. This speech was a fortu- ,--- itous followup followup to Toastmaster D u r k Bruinsma's Table Topics presentation when he asked each member member of the assembly to act as a salesperson for a specific article. Toastmaster Mike Sullivan, our General Evaluator, appraised the meeting and encouraged members to maintain the quality of the meeting.
