Skylight Donuts Finishes Regular Season Skylight Donuts played their last regular league game against . Aamco Home Improvements March 18, 1997. Having secured first place overall, Skylight Bantams wilted under the offensive pressure of Aamco and found themselves down 4 to 0 by the end of the 2nd period. Skylight Donuts' Jeff Collins assisted by Ian Cuthbertson finally broke the drought with just over 5 minutes minutes to go in the game. A late marker by Glen Ferguson, with Tyler Gibson drawing an assist, made the final score 4-2 in favour of Aamco. Skylight Donuts met Kool Enterprises March 22 in Bantam playoff action. Skylight opened the scoring midway through the first period on a goal by Jeff Collins, set up nicely by Bill Kift and Ian Cuthbertson. Kift put Skylight up by 2 early in the 2nd on a nice pass from Mike Wood. Kool drew within 1 near the end of the 2nd period. Kift's unassisted unassisted effort early in the 3rd restored Skylight's two-goal cushion. Kool did not quit, however, scoring once more at the mid-point of the 3rd. Kift's hot hand continued. He completed his hat trick with an assist to Glen Ferguson to make the final 4-2 for Skylight over Kool. - - Two ways look performance. FAST.
