Almost 2,000 Gradu The Clarington/Courticc Independent, Bowmanvillc, Saturday, June 21, 1997 Page 15 ea Durham College The annual Convocation Ceremonies honouring the Durham College Class of 1997 graduates was held on Saturday, June 14th at the Oshawa Civic Auditorium, 99 Thornton Road South, Oshawa. Two ceremonies were scheduled to confer diplomas and certificates. "They arc equipped to set the tone for a cooperative, productive and positive work environment." Port Hope House Tour The Port Hope Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario will hold its ANNUAL HOUSE TOUR on Saturday, October 4, 1997 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. . This year's tour features seven houses from Port Hope's treasury of 19th century architecture and one beautifully proportioned proportioned 1992 cottage in the Port Hope vernacular style. St. Mark's Anglican Church which is celebrating its 175th anniversary is also on the tour.
