The event continues June 20 and 21. Highlights include an. auction, a car show hosted by the Oshawa Sunday Cruisers, a Hula Hoop Contest, pancake breakfast, games for kids, bubblegum blowing contest, a disc jockey playing your favorite hits from the 50's and 60's, plus much more. featuring the live band Mirror, Mirror. Mr. Humber is the author of nine books, many of them on the subject of baseball. YARD SALE AT KNOX -- Knox Christian School will be holding their annual Yard Sale on Saturday, June 21st. ROCKING FOR A CLOCK -- Get ready to rock around the clock this Saturday, June 21, at a fundraising dance held at the Newcastle Arena to help purchase a new sound system and a score clock. A teen dance kicks off the evening from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and then the adult dance follows from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Teen tickets are $5 can be bought at the door. PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW -- Award winners in the 14th annual Juried Photography Exhibit at the Visual Arts Centre will be announced at the show's opening reception to be held Sunday, June 22, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Admission and refreshments arc free. Musical entertainment will be provided by Anna Luckai. All members of the public are welcome to attend.
