Hosted by the Bowmanville Hockin Oldtimers, the first golfer to score an ace on the 141 yard, par 3, second hole will be presented with the keys to a brand new Pontiac Sunfire, compliments of Jeff Stewart of Cowan Pontiac. Luckily for them, their latest streak has been a winning one. After winning their first two games of the year, Kendal dropped their next three. They stopped that los ing streak with a pair of wins in senior Eastern Ontario Baseball Association league play. On June 3, Kendal scored six runs in the final two innings to post a 6-5 victory in Whitby. A couple of Cory's had outstanding games. At the plate, Cory Fenton had three hits and two RBI, while on the mound, Cory Baker went the distance for the win. At their home park against Scarborough on June 8, Kendal won another one-run ball game, squeezing out a 7- 6 decision. Mike Robinson picked up the win after going seven innings. He received relief held from Jason Carroll and Cory Baker. Baker also chipped in offensively with four hits, including a home run and three RBI. Brad Robinson and Jason Carroll also hit solo home runs.
