Donna was a great lover of nature nature and flowers, and was a member of both Bowmanville and Orono Horticultural Societies. Societies. She also was a registered florist and up until her illness was employed at Bramble Bush Florist Shop. Many of the floral designs at the wake were from Bramble Bush and were exquisite! exquisite! The funeral was held Saturday, June 28, from Orono United Church with Rev. Dr. Mervyn Russell officiating. During the service her sister Dale, her daughters Jackie and JoAnne, and aunt Margaret gave tributes in her memory. A beautiful musical duet by a family friend, Mrs. Gladys Brown, Peterborough, and Rev. Russell, was much appreciated by the large crowd. The pall bearers were Jamie Sutherland, Rick Trull and Steve Bell, Maurice Harmer, Murray Brown and Glenn Downer. Downer. Burial in Orono Cemetery with Rev. Russell officiating.
