Good ball-control skills demonstrated by Greg Nemisz, Brandon Weigel and Lukas Pither as they helped contain Wexford in the second second half. Goalie Corey Prince played a strong game allowing allowing just one ball past him. The team's record shows 5 wins, 1 tie, 2 losses. The 'boys in blue' look forward to hosting a tournament tournament at the Darlington Hydro Fields this weekend where they hope to shine and show the teams in the Ontario Central Soccer League that there's a lot of talent in this neck of the woods! The PKC is a sanctioning body for American Kickboxing and Point Karate in both the US and Canada and maintains an extensive points standing system for all competitors who finish first, second or third in open marital marital arts competition in North America. As a result they regularly regularly compete in tournaments in Ontario, Quebec, New York and Ohio against competitors competitors from throughout North America. They have also matched their skills against competitors from as far away as Australia, Brazil, Germany, Italy, South Africa and the UK. The PKC does not maintain maintain a membership which you have to join to get rated and ranked. It is a free ranking System which rates competi tors at open tournaments that meet its strict criteria for fairness fairness and officiating. In the advanced division for Daniel's age group, over 70 competitors in Ontario were ranked and he led the group in fighting with 85 points. His nearest competitor had 50 points. Matthew led the advanced division in fighting for his age group with 95 points. Two competitors tied for second with 45 points and three tied for third with 40 points. Tai Kwon Do has been a demonstration sport at the last three Olympic Games and has been fully recognized for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
