Hobbs girls' hockey was challenged, formed, won and rested on their laurels thanks to Justine Gebours, Heidi Roller and Diane Bowler. Doug Ridge, Darryl Dallas and Clarke Glaspell helped make boys' athletics interesting and memorable while Terri Lilly, Dawn Carr and Jeff Metcalfe led the school in gymnastics. Jeff Knox who has since become a teacher found badminton badminton to be very dangerous. Arne X's Hour was the drama production that high- Crime Stoppers Seeks Culprits Who Hijacked Tractor Trailer Crime Stoppers and the Durham Regional Police are asking for your help in solving solving a Hijacking that occurred in Newcastle on June 3rd of this year. Around 2:30 a.m. the victim victim stopped his tractor trailer at the Esso Service Centre on the west bound 401. As the victim checked his vehicle he was approached by two masked men armed with a handgun. The victim was forced inside the bunk of the truck where his hands and feet were bound. The truck was driven by one of the hijackers to an unknown location where approximately approximately $148,000 worth of men's clothing was unloaded. Tire hijackers then drove the victim to a parking lot at Dixie Road and Finch Avenue in Pickering where lie sounded the air horn until he was located and freed by police. The victim escaped with no injuries. The suspects arc described as white males in their thirties. thirties.
