Check Us Out! DURHAM COUNTRYSIDE ADVENTURE -- A rural open house and harvest celebration will be held September 13 and 14 in Clarington. Hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. At the countryside countryside adventure, goat farmers teach the art of hand-milking, rural gardeners share their secrets, and country churches serve up hearty harvest fare. But, this represents just a part of the things to do and see on the countryside adventure. Tickets are adults $8, children $3, or $20 per family in advance or at any venue gate. The Bowmanville resident enjoys working in watercol- ors and has been showing her work professionally for the past six years. Among the works featured in this current collection is a painting painting of onions, titled "Unshed Tears," which won second prize in an open category category at the Buckhorn Art Festival a couple of years ago.
