This is a musical/comedy musical/comedy and will be directed by Judy Bagshaw. The auditions will be held at the Bowmanville High School Auditorium on Wednesday, September 10th, 7:00 p.m. for teenagers aged 13 and up and 8:00 p.m. for adults. Singing is required. The paintings also displayed a Middle Eastern influence. The show took place at 19 King St. E. and included work by Hari Ketenjian, a Scarborough artist. Some of the proceeds from the exhibit and an earlier earlier jazz concert at the co-op were donated to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. September 13th and 14th this year, will be the Oshawa, Whitby, Clarington United Way weekend at Cullen Gardens. This weekend will involve the gardens and miniature village itself, as well as hay rides, face painting, a corn roast and much, much more. It should be fun for the whole family. Carol Pudlis, the Marketing Manager at Cullen Gardens in Whitby said "we are pleased to participate in the local United Way in this fashion. It's a great cause, helping in a great diversity diversity of areas." "An important point to mention, is that all of the money stays in our community, and assists 40 local agencies," Carol added.
