Donnie is the dear son of Hilda Viola Thompson Thompson of Bowmanville and the late Donald Keith Thompson who also succumbed to lung cancer in his 51st year. Both are sadly missed by Ave and Glenn Burgess and their daughters Tammy, Annette and Stephanie; Debbie Trankner and her daughters Angie and Bianca; Valerie Thompson; Taullie and Jane Thompson and their sons Jeff, Greg, Jason and Jamie. He is also survived by 2 children children Mickey Thompson of Toronto Toronto and Tara Thompson of Minden. Donnie will be fondly remembered for his free spirit, spirit, his love of adventure and his generosity to all, even in the face of adversity.
