Local Horse Breeder To be Featured on PBS "Camera's rolling, speed, and...Action!"Those were the words echoed throughout the day at the Trillium Morgan Horse Farm in Orono on a sunny day in mid September. Paragon Productions arrived at the farm to begin filming at 7:30 a.m. for a new children's television series called Zoboomafoo. Owners, Bob and Cathy Sampson greeted the film crew on their arrival. American actors Chris and Martin Krails welcomed their new star to the show for this segment on horse care. Elcven-ycar-old Joanna Moore and her Morgan gelding, Trillium Pride N Joy, would spend the next seven hours in front of the camera before the day would end. Joanna comes from a show biz family of actors, so for Joanna, being in front of a camera with celebrities wasn't too intimidating. She loved her new role as actress, working her scenes like a true professional. For Pride, being up close and .personal with the camera, sound boom, and light reflectors, was not a problem. The personable and curious Morgan even managed to smile for the camera when the actors found his favourite scratch spot. It was not uncommon for him to fog the camera lens and tease the sound boom reaching overhead. He was at his best when everyone was gathered close around him. Pride's final scene called for him to rob those tempting carrots from the actor's back pocket. This he did right on cue! Others included in the film shoot that day were the farm's yearling stallion, Trillium's Victory March and the farm's mascot, the friendly black retriever named Sebastian. The show is scheduled to air in the United States on PBS in January of 1998. It will also be aired on TV Ontario. Maple Grove W.l.
