District 5 Hydro held their annual meeting in Brantford on Wednesday. Thursday was another MEARIE meeting and Friday an amalgamation and restructuring meeting with speakers from Dallas, Detroit and Australia. On Sunday, October 18 Mrs. Hilda Call's family held a birthday party for her at St. George's Parish Hall. Guests arrived from Barrie, Janctvillc, Toronto, Mississauga, Newcastle, Newton ville, Bowmanvillc, Blackstock, Etobicoke and Oshawa. Following the reception the family enjoyed pot- luck supper.
