A COLLECTORS' SHOW AND BAKE SALE -- Will be held on Saturday, October 25th, at the Orono United Church. Admission is by a donation only. Some of the collections featured at the show include: royalty and dolls, salt and pepper shakers, old tools, valentines, cocoa boxes, buttons, teapots, and teddy bears. The event is hosted by the U.C.W. GHOST TOWN TOUR -- Author Ron Brown will host the third Ghost Town tour, "The Goldfields of Ontario", for the Oshawa Historical Society on Saturday, October 25 from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. This bus trip will be heading east from Oshawa to Belleville stopping stopping at ghost mining towns.
