Captain Geroge's Beat Newcastle #2 Captain George's Fish V Chips Atoms began league play against rival Newcastle #2 on Sunday, November 2. Jordan Bowen evened the game scoring George's first goal of league play. With the first period ending dead-locked Newcastle scored its second second to take a 2-1 lead. Derrick Wood tied the game, scoring on a pass from Andy Millson. Wood put George's up 3-2 on a fine play from Derrick Knox and Andy Millson. Camden Matthews put George's up by two, scoring scoring on a fine clearing pass from Jacqui Vale at 8:44 of the third. With four minutes minutes left in the game, Derrick Knox finished up the scoring on a great feed from Mark Reid. The 5-2 final would not have been possible without without the key saves of Keenan Cormier. Captain George's hit the road for a contest against Bcwdicy on Monday, November 3. Camden Matthews opened the scoring on a great feed from Andy Millson. Before the end of the first, Bcwdicy replied with one of their own to even the score at 1-1. Andy Millson restored George's lead at 8:50 of the second on a pass from Jordan Bowen. Seconds later, Bcwdicy evened the score. With five minutes to go in the second, Jacqui Vale fed one up to Derrick Knox. Knox led Andy Millson who popped the mesh and rc-storcd Captain George's lead. At the beginning of the third, Camden Matthews scored to put George's up by two. Sensing the heat, Bcwdicy turned on the after burners and scored four unanswered goals. Fifth Wheel Minor Tykes Split Games On Weekend Well, the Tim's Fifth Wheel Minor Tykes started started early on Saturday, November l, at 8:00 a.m. Just a night after collecting collecting all of their candy. But even though they were tired after trick or treating, both Tim's Fifth Wheel and Beaver Lumber played a great game. The action went both ways and at the end of a hard fought battle, Beaver Lumber ended up winning 7-4. Day two of Tim's Fifth Wheel's weekend went a lot belter for the big gray machine. The boys played a strong game winning 5- 2. The boys had to come back from a 2-0 deficit. The coaching staff were very proud of the effort put forth by the boys. As the coach, thanks to the parents for their great attendance and being on time for the games.
