Lob Ball Teams Needed for Tournament The Cartwright annual Spring Adult Mixed Lob Ball tournament, scheduled for Saturday, May 30 is looking for teams and players. The one-day tournament is a fundraiser for Cartwright Minor Ball and in recent years has served as a kick-off tournament tournament for many local teams. With the completion completion of new diamonds at the Public School last year, the league is ready for another great tournament and season of ball. Registration fees remain at $200 per team, with prize money allocated on the basis of the number of teams entered. The organizers provide all the game balls, bases and scheduling throughout the day. Every team is guaranteed three games and six teams will have the opportunity to play in divisional finals. With just a few weeks to go befor the tournament, tournament, organizers are anxious to confirm teams and arrange the schedule.
