Earth Day Present Ontario Hydro's Darlington Nuclear Generating Station donated shrubs to Bowmanvillc High School for Earth Week. Tina Marie Rebecca Benczcnlcitncr of Bowmanville was recently selected to participate in Nationals "1998 Miss Jr. Teen Toronto" pageant competition that will take place on May 10. Tina Marie learned of her acceptance into this year's competition as National, Inc. announced their selections on Monday afternoon. Tina Marie submitted submitted an application and took part in an interview session conducted April II. Tina Marie will be competing competing for her share of over $20,000.00 in scholarships, scholarships, prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed distributed to contestants. She will be competing in the Miss Jr. Teen division, one of five divisions that will have young ladies between the ages of 7 and 23 competing competing in modeling routines routines which include casual wear and formal wear. If Tina Marie were to win the title of Miss Jr. Teen Toronto, site would represent Toronto and the surrounding communities within a 200 mile radius of Toronto at the National Competition that will take place in Orlando, Florida. Tina Marie is the daughter of Donna Emily (Dobson) Bcnczcnleitncr and Peter Bcnczcnleitncr. In her spare time she enjoys reading, photogra phy and singing. There is no cost to Tina Marie for participating in the pageant competition.
