Jim Coombes was master of ceremonies ceremonies and called the gathering gathering to order. He asked the group for a minute of silence in memory of the late Fred Wright. Grace was sung. After a lovely meal prepared and served by the ladies and men of the Baseline, Doug Caston expressed thanks to them. Ken Bragg in his usual witty way took over to give out some special prizes. Ken had a roast for Lloyd Broome who is now the oldest oldest bowler (and no doubt the best, or nearly). A small gift was given to Jim Coombes, a hat, very becoming. Phillip Broome received some building blocks for his team. Ken also presented fun gifts to Doug Caston, John Dc Coe, John Pleasancc and Brian Annis. This recall measure has been undertaken to replace a suspension fork problem, which might cause the suspension fork to become dislodged from the frame, causing a potential safety concern.
