War Amps Video Wins Top Award A War Amps music video featuring the songs of John McDermott received the Gold Award at the WorldFcst-Houston Film Festival in Houston, Texas, tonight. The award was in the "music videos - specials/shows" category. John McDermott: The Tragedy of War, produced by War Amps Chief Executive Officer Cliff Chadderlon, is part of the Association's NEVER AGAIN! series. The idea for the video came after John McDermott, Canada's premiere singer of traditional war ballads, performed at the . 78th Annual Reunion of The War Amps in Toronto last year. The War Amps then prepared the hour-long video, which matches authentic war footage to Mr. McDermott's haunting haunting songs about the horrors horrors of war. The video has been broadcast by community community channels across Canada and was featured on the Pamela Wallin show last November 11 til.
