The first Board of Trustees will include Trustees from the founding hospital corporations and individuals living in Durham Region selected by a nominations committee. The nominations committee will also select an individual living in Durham Region to serve as the independent Chair of the Board of Trustees. Guidelines have been established for the selection of Trustees and the Chair to ensure the Board reflects a balance of skills, knowledge and perspectives.
