In the GM Workers In Oshawa Off the Job Two car assembly plants in Oshawa remain idle on Tuesday due to an on-going work stoppage at the General Motors production facility in Flint, Michigan. Workers at Car Plant One in Oshawa were advised not to report for work on June 9th. About 1,900 are currently on layoff. On June 15th Another 2,500 employees at Plant 2 were notified the plant would suspend production production there. The only other GM plant affected by the U.S. work stoppage is the Components Plant in St. Catharines which employs 650 people. U.S.A., gas stations already have a two-price system.
