Loving wife of the late Charles Arthur Humpage, formerly of Beverly Fabrics Ltd., passed away peacefully on June 15, 1998, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, after a brief illness, in her 84th year. Gertrude was a devoted mother mother and a proud grandmother to her daughters, Jean Humpage of Pickering, Beverly (Humpage) Panacci (Frank Panacci) and her grandchildren, Christopher, Shelley and Jordan Panacci, all from Mississauga. Gertrude was a loving sister to Pat Bradd (Floyd Bradd) of Bowmanville and Marian Swindells of Etobicoke and sister-in-law, Florence Hooper of Bowmanville. She was predeceased predeceased by her parents, Mary and Roy Hooper of Bowmanville; brothers Kenneth and Lloyd Hooper and sister, Rela, all of Bowmanville. Gertrude was a charter member of St. James Rosemount United Church, a member of the U.C.W., IODE, Kinette Clubs of Bowmanville and Kitchener. She was loved and cherished by everyone who came in contact with her and will be sadly missed by close family and friends.
