The Durham Regional Police arc investigating the incident which caused about $200 in damage. More damage to school -- A representative of the new school being built on Longworth Drive, Bowmanvillc, reported 25 pails of primer paint were dumped and several bags of masonry mix were ripped and dumped during the weekend. Also, a water line was broken and a generator was tampered with. Police noted that about $1,000 in damage was done to the school which is under construction. Sunday, June 21 Purse snatched from trunk -- An Oshawa woman reported that, while picking strawberries at Watson's Farms, someone look her purse from her car on Saturday, June 20. Missing gargoyle -- A Queen St., Bowmanvillc, resident resident reported an 18-inch grey concrete lawn ornament had been taken from her yard over the weekend. Missing is her grey concrete gargoyle which is minus one car. She would really like to have it back. Friday, June 19 Pot found -- A Taunton Rd, Clarington, man reported reported he found some marijuana plants in a field behind his home, Thursday, June 18 Obscene calls -- Three employees of the Clarington Kids Day Care have received obscene phone calls while at work. Police noted the calls have been directed towards the employees and not the children.
