Memorial Ride Brings in $5,000 for Cancer Society Seventeen cyclists pedaling from Pickering lo Kingston on the 2nd annual Gail Perks Memorial Ride for Cancer last week took a break under the shady gazebo at Bowmanvillc's Rotary Park where refreshments were provided by Dykstra's Delicatessen. The riders expect to complete the 300 kilometer trip in three days and hand over $5,000 in pledge money to the East Durham Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society.
