The tour takes place from 10 a.m. to four p.m„ rain or shine, and serves as the major fund-raiser for the Horticultural Society. Tickets can be obtained from the Ecology Garden at the Bowmanvillc High School on the day of the tour. Tickets arc also available in advance from Hutton Insurance, 52 King St. XV., Bowmanvillc (call 623- 7688) and the Bowmanvillc Barber Shop at 19(a) King St. \V. The tour takes about five hours to fully enjoy and offers a wide cross-section of gardening styles. Three of the homes include ponds, one of which is on the Bowmanvillc Creek. Just a few of the highlights available available to the visitors also include a cottage garden, rockeries, hand-crafted stone walls made without mortar and an extensive rose garden. garden.
