Howard Goldcnbcrg, who won his Outstanding Student Award for out standing efforts at the Pickering campus, came all the way from Ottawa, where he now lives and works, to receive his honours honours and give a rousing speech in which he talked of the exciting changes schooling has made in his life. Student Wins Sandford Fleming Scholarship Sara Pollock of Bowmanville High School is one of this year's winners of a full entrance scholarship to Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough. Worth $ 1,840 the scholarship scholarship covers the cost of tuition and ancillary fees. The scholarship is awarded to the lop student at each of the high schools in the school boards in the college's catchment area. Sir Sandford Fleming College's board of governors announced the new scholarship scholarship program this spring. His family members members - and the Millbrook community - recognize the desperate need for a heart r catheter lab in the Five Counties Region. The Heart Catheter Campaign is run by _the Community Health Services Foundation, an organization raising dollars to bring needed medical equipment to the Five Counties Region. A heart catheter (or angiogram) is the tool used to inject dye into the heart in order to locate ,• blocked arteries.
