The Laskcshore East all-day bus service between Bowmanvillc and Oshawa will be extended to include Newcastle. The buses will continue to serve Bowmanvillc, Courticc, downtown Oshawa (stops at Bond and Centre or King and Centre), and will travel along Stevenson Rd. and Bloor St., stopping in front of the Oshawa Centre on the way to the Oshawa train station. With this improved route, passengers passengers will no longer need to transfer to Oshawa Transit, but will instead have a direct GO connection to the Oshawa train station. Outside of rush-hour, the Newcastle buses will also connect at Pickering station, providing convenient convenient access to the GO Train seven days a week.
