A 1985 Oldsmobile received $5,000 damage, while damage to a 1987 Ford Acrostar was estimated at $3,000. Plans for an addition to the Trull's Rd. Free Methodist Church were the subject of a public meeting Monday, August 31, in Bowmanville. The church is proposing proposing an addition south of the existing building, with a seating capacity of about 650. Additional parking would also be included. The project would include not only a'new sanctuary, but also gymnasium, gymnasium, Christian education rooms plus kitchen and banquet facilities. The existing church would be used as a fellowship hall and also for community outreach services.
