It's a picture taken on the dock of her parents' cottage on Crystal Lake, near Kinmount. The photo has found its way out of the family album and into Cottage Life magazine. The photo, depicting Brigha Mecch, Jill Stewart, and Sheila Mecch lying on a dock with avocado masks and cucumber eyes, received an Honourable Mention in the magazine's magazine's latest contest. The special recognition landed the photo on the pages of the Cottage Life magazine that hit news-stands last week. The 9th annual contest wanted its readers to submit pictures that evoked thoughts of being at the cottage. Bronwyn's photo, unofficially entitled "Three Blind Mice" by family members, was one of the few to catch the favourable eye of the judges. The nine-year-old, grade four student at Vincent Massey Public School, said the photo took place during a "silly day" at the cottage, which is a common occurrence during the course of the summer. :-:-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-:-x-x-:-X'H-x-:-x-x-x*x-x-x-x-x-x-x-X'X-x-x-x-x-x-x-Xv:- m m ip# 4 Country Comfort Sale Till Dec. 15/98 i Keeprite Hi Efficiency Furnaces Starting at $1899.00 Only * installed.
