McPherson Optometrist, played their fifth and sixth games of the regular season. In the fifth regular season season game, the Flames fell to a 4-2 loss to the Oshawa Timbit Islanders team. The Flames' only two goals scored in the first period were scored by Ally Stade, unassisted. In the sixth regular season season game against the Oshawa Timbit Stars, the Flames came on strong, winning the game 5-2. First period goals went to Amanda Miljanovski for a single, and two goals for Ally Stade with an assist going to Colleen Bathe. Goals were scored by Matt Beech, Zach Pither, Matt Tamblyn, Brendan Kalijundic, and Colin Baker. Assists went to Brandon Beers, Greg Tamblyn, Garrett Ncmisz, Colin Baker, Justin Vandebelt, and Stephen Nelles. A total of 19 penalties were called with 11 of those going to Ajax. The Toros opened with a 2-0 setback to the hometown hometown team from Orillia. Kyle Zavitz was presented with the Player of the Game hardware for an outstanding game patrolling the blueline. Their final round robin game against Burlington turned out to be the most exciting game of the season season to date. The Toros built a three goal lead with markers by Michael Albertini, Josh Sullivan, and Brett Chapman. Assists went to Brett Chapman, William Minnema, Andrew Moore, Tyler Neil, Danny Arnott, Jeff Fcldcamp. After Burlington cut the lead to 3-2, Chapman connected for his second of the game from Albertini and Minnema. Burlington stormed back with two goals to tie the game 4-4 with under three minutes to play. After a game-saving game-saving save from Peter Hamilton, Minnema iced the game for Roys as he banged home a goalmouth pass from Sullivan and Chapman for the game winner.
