This year's attendance attendance recorded 576 guests who visited the farm, despite a cold drizzle and cool afternoon weather. Refreshments were served to the many guests. Numbers were drawn for carriage rides around the arena, much to the delight of the lucky winning ticket holders. This year's popular stall decorating contest proved to be a challenge once again for the voting public as they cast their votes for their favourite designs in three categories. categories. This year, the farm welcomed its first international entry from Salt Lake City Utah This year the farm welcomed welcomed its first international international entry, represented by the Edgington family of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Edgingtons had purchased a Morgan Horse from the farm this past spring and wanted to be included in this year's competition. Funding was provided and volunteers at the farm created created and built the stall design in their absence. Results of this year's competition are as follows: follows: Youth Division Champion was Kathy Bugelli of Newcastle and her entry, "A Disney Christmas". Reserve Champion was Tania Brinn of Inniskillcn with "Loli's Christmas Stall". Adult Division Champion was Laurie Heard of Oshawa and "A Cowboy's Christmas". Reserve Champion was Ruth Gray of Bowmanville and "Something About Christmas". Family or Group Division Champion was The Edgington Family of Salt Lake City, Utah and "Utah Christmas Cabin". Reserve Champion was Laurel Gould of Bowmanville and "The Spirit" of Christmas as Seen Through A Child's Eyes". Close to $150 was raised through the raffle ticket sales in support of The Equine Foundation of Canada. All prizes were kindly donated for this event. The farm would like to take this opportunity to thank the more than a dozen greeters and guides who assisted the publie at this year's event. They would also like to thank the competitors for their wonderful entries that took many weeks and hours to complete. And finally, the farm would especially like to thank the public for their continued support of this yearly festive festive event. CHRISTMAS PREVIEW -- Trillium Morgan Horse Farm on Ochonski Road in Orono held its Ninth Annual Christmas Festival on the weekend. Close to 600 visitors enjoyed 20 stalls that were decorated for the holidays. Prizes were awarded for best youth, adult and family entry.
