Effective Friday, January 30, 1998, the theatre theatre reduced the price of admission for children and seniors from $5.00 to $4.25, and Tuesday general general admission prices from $5.00 to $4.25. Weekend matinees will also drop from $6.50 to $4.25. A special youth price for young adults, aged 17 and younger, is being introduced at $4.25, and will be valid seven days a week. "We have had tremendous tremendous success with the introduction of reduced pricing at our theatres throughout North America and we think that these prices will particularly appeal to individuals who appreciate value and may be on a limited budget", said Allen Karp, President and CEO of Cineplex Odeon.
