The exhibition, entitled "Do Not Be Afraid," explores themes of flight, transcendence, distance distance and travel. Cynthia Hammond is shown with her sculpture entitled "Mending Icarus' Wing." The show opened on Sunday, February 8th, and continues until February 27th. The event will be held at Rehoboth Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, February 17th, commencing at 6:00 p.m. To accentuate the vast difference that exists in food resources between Third World and developed developed countries, the evening will commence with a meal in which most participants will be given fare typical of Third World countries, while a randomly randomly selected few will receive a typical North American dinner. It is hoped that this will set the stage for a lively discussion of global inequalities and related justice issues at each table.
