Obituary CLARK James Allan James Allan Clark was born on February 3, 1954 to Martha and the late Allan Henry Clark. He has one sister Mrs. Lillie Rienstra and her husband Arthur. James has always lived In Newton- ville and Newcastle area. He was educated at Slarkville, Newtonville and Clarke High Schools. He started working at the age of 8 for Phil Sanders. Later he worked a short time for C.R. Farrow, then Sid Lancaster the Massey Dealer, where he took his apprenticeship and then got his mechanic's licence plus his Interprovincial Interprovincial sticker. Later this establishment establishment was sold to Lillie and Arthur Rienstra. Then he left to work for R. E. Sculthorpe's G.M.C. dealership dealership in Port Hope. In the fall of 1984 he starting working at M.C.L. (now Allied Trucking). In the spring of 1985 James attended Sir Sandford Fleming with Les Cowlard and Les Graham fo receive their Diesel Endorsement. James passed and became a certified certified Diesel Mechanic. He was always upgrading his skills with courses. He met his wife-to-be Patsy Jane Gibson in June of 1970 and they started dating October October 16, 1970. They were married May 21, 1971. They have two children, Elizabeth Irene Clark and William Allan Clark. On May 15, 1993 he had the honour of walking his daughter daughter down the aisle to marry Kevin Edward Risebrough. Our first grandson Bryce Edward James Risebrough was born on January 11, 1998, Grandpa's pride and joy. In 1996 his son William met his wife-to-be Tammy DeJong and they plan to be married in March of 1999. In August of 1998, Jim had what was thought to be the flu. When it wouldn't go away he went to Bowmanville Hospital Hospital on September 12 where they diagnosed him with leukaemia. leukaemia. On September 14, Jim was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for his first treatment, treatment, but the leukaemia did not go into remission. The second treatment did not put the leukaemia into remission again. After a long hard fight James passed away on December 23, 1998, at 1:15 a.m. with his loving wife and beloved daughter at his side. He enjoyed farming, fishing, boating, hunting and being with good friends and family. He was Into amateur radio, gardening and spending time with Bryce. He touched so many people's lives with humour, humour, honesty, laughter and his attitude towards life. He could take a bad time and see something good In it. He will be missed dearly. He is the son-in-law of Mrs. Irene Gray and family and Mr. Kenneth Gibson. Funeral service was complete at Morris Funeral Chapel, Monday, Monday, December 28, at 1 p.m. Interment Lakevlew Cemetery. Cemetery. Officiating were Rev. Don Stiles and Chaplain Bruce White. Pallbearers were Brian Young, Jason Coburn, Clifford Cowlard, Leseley Cowlard, Larry Sinclair and Glen Farrow. PATTERSON Zella Mary Zella Mary Patterson passed away January 14, 1999 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Bowmanville In her 92nd year. She was born July 6, 1907 In Clarke Township to Mary and Robert Fuller. She was married married to Laverne Patterson November November 28, 1933. They recently recently celebrated their 65th Anniversary. Mrs. Patterson and her husband lived on a farm on the 5th Concession of Clarke Township until 1968 when they moved into Orono. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, lor twenty years before her retirement. She was predeceased by an Infant daughter and son Garry. Mrs. Patterson and her husband have been living at Strathnvon Llfocaro Centre 1er 11/2 years.
