Mackie's In Playo Mackie's Automotive Minor Atom "AA" concluded their interleague season season with a game against the Ajax Axemen on Sunday, January 24th. Although the Bulls appeared a little rusty, Clarington did manage to put things together and connected for three scores in the third period. At the other end, Chad Dcighton kept the Axemen from taking advantage of the Toros slow start by holding Ajax to just one score in the third period. Chris Jukic and David Ross played a strong game for the Toros, with each collecting a goal and an assist. Jason Cadwell also connected for one score. Chipping in with assists were Brian Allore and Cory Prince. The Toros impressive play throughout throughout the year has resulted in only one loss during regular season play. Mackie's have been rewarded for this effort with a first round bye. Although the reward is deserved, the thought of silting for a week or longer without a game could be cause for concern.
