Bowmanville, Saturday, February 13. 1999 Page 5 Unbeaten Streak Continues for Young Drivers Young Drivers of Canada Noviec hockey team recorded recorded four more wins over the past weeks to keep their unbeaten streak alive. They were first matched against TC Evergreen and recorded a 5-2 win. Tyler Whyte and Jonathan Kurianowicz each pupped in two goals, while Mark Wroblcwki played extremely well to earn two assists. Shaun Bodnaryk played a solid game on defence and picked up an assist for his efforts. Their second game took on an interesting twist as the team found themselves playing playing shorthanded for much of the game against James Insurance. Tyler Whyte opened the scoring after tak ing a pass from Brad Fegan. In the second period, Mark Wroblewski and Jonathan Kurianowicz each scored to bring the tally to 3-1. The final 15 minutes belonged to the defensive team of Jacob Stoekwcll, Derek English, James Masarovich, Brad Fegan, Ryan Gallagher and Shaun Bodnaryk, as well as goalie Cory Posteraro. Jessie Nelson, Calvin Kuzma, Chris Hesson, Chris Csandi, and David Milne played extremely well, moving moving the puck up the ice which contributed to the win. Finally, Young Drivers met National Trust at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex and skated away with a 10-0 win. Picking up goals were Tyler Whyte (7), Mark Wroblewski (3). Assists went to Shaun Bodnaryk (2), Brad Fegan (1 ), Calvin Kuzma ( I ), Ryan Gallagher (1).
