Bereaved Families Hold 'Walk to Remember" Local MPP John O'Toole wit! bring greetings to bereaved families of Durham Region who arc participating in the province-wide event "A Walk To Remember" on Sunday, February 21st, 1999. Walkers in 10 different communities across the province are taking part in this memorial walkathon which is sponsored by Shoppers Drug Mart and organized try local affiliates of Bereaved Families of Ontario (BFO), a self-help organization for families who have lost a child through death. In Durham Region, the event will be held at the Five Points Mall located at Ritson and Taunton Rds. in Oshawa. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. with greetings at 10 a.m. from Mr. O'Toole and a warmup led try Donna Davidson of die YWCA. The Durham Region Affiliate of BFO is inviting the public to walk with them.
