Newcastle Family Connection Holds Charity Auction On April 11 th Newcastle Family Connection is a Family Resource Centre established in 1990 answering the need for programs and support for Clarington parents and caregivers. N.F.C. offers a drop-in play group, toy lending and parent resource library, children's children's dance and musical theatre classes as well as parenting workshops and baby-sitting courses to the community. Entertainment, refreshments, fun and great shopping will be waiting for all who attend A volunteer Board of Directors governs N.F.C. and is dedicated to raising the required funds to provide provide these badly needed services. Donations assist N.F.C., which became a duly registered registered charily in 1994 and is able to provide tax receipts if required. User fees are kept as low as possible and no one is turned away due to financial hardships. It is critical that our current current fundraiser, a Silent Auction, is a success in order to deal with rising costs and the growing needs of a rapidly expanding local population. The 4th Annual Talents and Treasures Auction will lake place on Sunday, April 11, 1999 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Newcastle Community Hall (Mill St. and Hwy. #2) in the Village of Newcastle. Entertainment, refreshments, refreshments, fun and great shopping shopping will be waiting for all who attend.
