On Monday evening around 9:00 p.m., the victim while walking in the downtown core was approached by a male/fcmalc teenage couple. The female, brandishing a knife, grabbed the victim, d c ni a n d i n g money. When the female assailant was told that there was no money, she positioned positioned herself in an aggressive manner, suggesting suggesting that she would stab the complainant. The male culprit interjected interjected at this point, telling his female accomplice accomplice to stop. The victim was then ordered to empty the contents of her purse on the ground. Moments later, she was able to free herself, herself, at which time she ran to her residence and notified police.
